Speaking of being humble, let's talk about ourselves

Beer is simple. It’s a combination of malted barley, hops, yeast, and water. Palatable craft beer is a bit more complex. Adjust heat, alter key components, enter complementary ingredients, age approximately and before long you have a pint of nature’s greatest gift. Beer, the best damn drink in the world, when consumed in moderation, will soften the temper and cheer the spirits.

In a marketplace saturated with west coast style hop-forward ales, Nick specializes in blending unconventional ingredients with traditional style beers. He picks out his favorite attributes from the most flavorful beers, adds complementary twists, boat loads of soul and BAM, the outcome is Humble Sea brew. Listed below are a handful of our lighter, flavorful beers ready to fill the fridge as soon as we’re ABC approved. Don’t stress, obnoxiously hoppy beers are on their way alongside their faithful compliments; sours, saisons and wild ales.

Our first five beers (and so many more to come)

Allie 25 IBU, 5.1% ABV
A blonde ale combining traditional styles with a west coast twist. The hops provide tinges of spicy and citrus notes, balanced by sweet and fruity Belgian flavors. Light and less complex than many other Belgian styles, yet very flavorful. A blonde ale that finally proves blondes really do have more fun (just sayin).

Maritime Medicine 22 IBU, 5.5% ABV
A German pilsner(ish) lager with hints of wheat and caramel malts. German noble hops are used in conjunction with crushed coriander and lemon grass to provide a refreshing and energizing taste. A medicine that remedies like no other.

Yacht Club 19 IBU, 4.9% ABV
Pilsner, vienna and wheat malts provide the base for this beer along with Belgian candy sugar. The crushed coriander and Nelson Sauvin hops are used to create unique and distinguishing Belgian lager. The Nelson hops lend a grape character conveying an almost champagne-like quality. Bottoms up, smooth sailing.

Nantucket Sleigh Ride 54 IBU, 6.4% ABV
A west coast style IPA with a dry in-mouth feel. The hops bring a fruity, crisp taste with a citrus aroma that will have you like, yep.

Playita 12 IBU, 5.1% ABV
A light refreshing lager brewed with corn and fermented with a Mexican lager strain that packs a flavorful punch. A distinct savory interpretation on a classic Mexican lager.
