The year 2009 shocked family, friends, classmates and community members when news spread surrounding the tragic car accident of Allie Pomianowski. As a result of the accident, Allie, a close friend of the team, was left a quadriplegic. Although paralyzed for the remaining years of her life, in 2012 Allie approached Nick with the idea of opening a craft brewery together. They quickly started planning and for months were meeting weekly. Persevering for her remaining years, Alexandria Ann Pomianowski eventually passed in January of 2013 due to complications. Allie's passing handcuffed all progress for Nick and left the dream on the back burner.

Frank, Taylor & Allie attended middle school and high school together, sharing much of the same experiences within the same group of friends. Nick eventually married Allie’s best friend Samantha and renamed his blonde ale to “Allie Blonde” in remembrance. The beer is a perfect depiction of Allie Pomiannowski: crisp, refreshing, vibrant in color, and the perfect complement to every sunny afternoon.
